Lucapa Diamond Company Recovers 176 Carat Rough Diamond From Lulo Mine

Lucapa Diamond Company has recovered a 176 carat, type IIa rough diamond from its Lulo alluvial mine in Angola. The rough diamond is the eighth largest diamond to be discovered at Lulo mine since it began operations in 2015. The rough diamond is also the fifth diamond over 100 carats retreived so far this year. Take a look.

Lucapa Recovers 138 Carat Rough Diamond

Lucapa Diamond Company has unearthed a 138 carat rough diamond from its Lulo alluvial mine in Anglola. The company found the stone at the site's Mining Block 46 portion of the mine, which is adjacent to the area where Lucapa is conducting its exploration for the primary course, or mother lode, of the deposit's diamonds. Lucapa Recovers 144-carat Rough Diamond

Lucapa Diamond Company has recovered a 144-carat rough diamond from its Lulo alluvial mine in Angola. The company found the D-color, type IIa rough diamond at the site's Mining Block 08, a section of the deposit known for its large, high-value rough diamonds. The rough diamond is the 6th over 100 carats Lucapa has found at Lulo this year, and the 23rd of that magnitude from the site since mining operations began.

Three 100 Plus Carats Diamonds Recovered At Lulo

Lucapa Diamond Company has recovered three more 100 plus carat rough diamonds at its Lulo alluvial mine in Angola. The company found a 131 carat D-color, type IIa, a brown diamond weighing 118 carats and a 133 carat lower quality grey diamond at the site's high-value Mining Block 46. That section, which is located along the Canguige tributary, also produced a 114 carat, D-color, type IIa stone earlier this month, as well as 104 carat and 113 carat diamonds in January.

215 Carat Diamond Recovered At Mothae

Lucapa Diamond Company has recovered a 215 carat rough from its Mothae mine in Lesotho, the largest high quality diamond it has found at the deposit.
