Random Thoughts

A lot of investors and clients who enjoy jewelry have started purchasing important diamonds and gems as a hedge against what's going on in the stock market, against what's going on with currencies. A lot of people are putting their money into a gem, and then there's the appreciation of the gem and the appreciation of the currency that they buy in.

Moon Rock Imitation

A treasured piece at the Dutch national museum, a supposed moon rock from the first manned lunar landing has been identified by the experts as petrified wood. What a story! How could this have happened?

It's a good story, with some questions that are still unanswered. We can laugh about it.

Virgin Mary Image In Quartz

We believe this to be a miracle from God. The gemstone has a very strong, positive energy which can be easily felt by holding or even touching the stone.
- Rev. Dr. Douglas Van Dyke, D.D

It was a very unusual gem material indeed, but it was unnecessary for Rev Douglas Van Dyke to make god-like statements. Make your own judgment. Check out the link http://www.image2.com/Site_2/Welcome.html

The Black Stone Of Kaaba

According to Grant Pearson (Australia), meteoritic materials have been of interest since antiquity for ornamentation or amulets, or as objects of fear, curiosity, worship or veneration. For example, the black stone of Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia to which pilgrims have long paid homage is thought to be meteoritic with its ancient mystical allusions probably arising from its having fallen from the heavens.
