Lead In My Grandmother’s Body

Lead in My Grandmother's Body is an exhibition from Borroloola by senior Garrwa man Jack Green, senior Garrwa-Yanyuwa woman Nancy McDinny, Garrwa-Gangalidda man Stewart Hoosan, Darwin-based artist Therese Ritchie and environmental anthropologist Sean Kerins of the Australian National University. Their paintings are of historical events as passed down by grandparents and elders, as well as depicting daily life in Borroloola, next door to the McArthur River lead and zinc mine.

Louis Vuitton Exhibition

Louis Vuitton is exhibiting its collaborations with leading artists over the past 160 years, complete with custom bags and a tropical pop-up shop. The Louis Vuitton X exhibition can be seen at 468 North Rodeo Drive building in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. It has 180 items from the French fashion house's archive on display. Must visit.

GemGeneve 2019

Now in its second year, GemGenève is the new European jewellery show with 210 exhibitors as well as being the place to meet in person the designers to watch. GemGenève, organised by two industry insiders, offers a space where trade and press can mingle with many of the independent jewellery professionals from around the world who have emigrated from Baselworld and beyond.  Located in Geneva’s Palexpo, it is a short walk from the international airport and can be explored in a day. Take note.
