Inside The Vaults Of Tiffany Studios: Designing The Gilded Age

Running from October 22, 2026, to February 7, 2027, at The Met Fifth Avenue, the upcoming exhibition Designing the Gilded Age: Drawings from the Studios of Louis C. Tiffany offers a rare glimpse into the renowned design house's creative process. Located in Galleries 691–693 and included with general museum admission, this showcase reunites nearly 120 works—featuring beautifully restored watercolor concept drawings paired directly with iconic stained-glass pieces. Highlighted by key contributions from prominent studio designers like Clara Driscoll and Agnes Northrop, the display also features a premier loan from the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Woman in a Pergola with Wisteria window, celebrating the intricate artistry that defined a landmark era in American decorative art.
