Rock Tumbling For Autism

I haven't met a child who is not fascinated with rocks at some stage of their life. There is no experience equal to seeing the excitement on children's faces when they talk about collecting rocks. I hope to inspire my readers to delve into a kind of art that requires no physical talent, but only imagination, a little bit of patience, and the rock tumbler of their choice. Many thanks to David Leaton.

Arsenopyrite

Arsenopyrite is the most common of the arsenic minerals and it is a major ore of arsenic. Whether a mineral with a known toxic component or note, always handle mineral specimens with care. If you are in doubt, consult a reputed mineralogist.

British And Exotic Mineralogy

This project captivated my attention because of the beautiful fusion of mineralogical science and art, the unique connection between 19th and 21st century artists and the rockhounds of the distant past and present. Take a look at Nicholas Rougeux's hundreds of detailed and notable mineral illustrations. They are stunningly beautiful.
