The Life And Times Of Stan The T. rex

The fossil was priceless to paleontologists. Now it belongs to an unknown bidder. The sale of one of the world's most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons smashed auction estimates when it was sold at Christie's auction for US$31.8 million. The sale set a new world record for any dinosaur skeleton or fossil ever sold at auction.

Ian Webster, a California-based paleontologist has created an interactive map that allows people to see how far their hometowns have moved over 750 million years of continental drift. The online map features a range of tools that also make it easy to discover more about earth.
