Anoma A1 Optical Watch: Where Geometry Meets Illusion

Looking for a timepiece that challenges your perception?

The Anoma A1 Optical is made for you.

What makes the A1 unique?

  • Distortion is the design.
The sculpted case bends light and reflections. You don’t just wear it—you interact with it.

  • Inspired by Optical Art.
The dial pattern draws from Op Art, where simple shapes create complex visual illusions.

  • Hand-engraved for precision.
Fifty slightly shifted triangles are etched into the metal dial. Each triangle is engraved individually by dragging a sharp tool across the surface.

  • Refined by hand.
After engraving, the dial is sandblasted and then hand-polished to control the level of reflection. It creates a shifting sense of depth as light hits the surface.

A collaboration with artist Adam Fuhrer
  • Each watch comes with a matching piece of art.

  • Optical artist Adam Fuhrer reimagined the dial design into a collectible artwork.

  • The first 300 watches will be individually numbered.

  • 150 in brushed copper, 150 in brushed silver.

  • Your watch and its artwork share the same number.

Why choose A1 Optical?

  • It’s not just a watch—it’s a wearable artwork.

  • It plays with light, angle, and perception.

  • You own both a timepiece and an original art print.

Looking for something different?

Ask yourself:

  • Do you want a watch that gets noticed without shouting?

  • Are you drawn to precision and geometry?

  • Do you value craftsmanship over mass production?

If yes, the A1 Optical belongs on your wrist.
