Lucapa Diamond Company, an Australian miner has reported record month of carat recoveries at its Lulo alluvial diamond mine in Angola. Gravel deposits in the MB06 Leziria has yielded 3852 carats in August, including 52 specials. The largest diamond recovered from the area was a 61 carat while D-color Type IIa.
