Heard On The Street

When is news news? All news is news, really.

Amer Radwan

Amer Radwan of Radwan Diamond and Jewelry Trading in Dubai have acquired Ponahalo Diamonds (70.87 carats = US$2.15 million + 102.11 carats = US$4.11 million), the two largest Forevermark diamonds in the world, at auction by Steinmetz at Christie’s in New York on 15 October, 2008. Right now, I think Ponahalo-like diamonds are perceived as an investor's best friend. Good luck!

Consumer Insights

I found Unity Marketing's survey on ultra-affluent consumers and their shopping behavior + other viewpoints interesting and insightful. My view is most ultra-affluents are inert to recession. Go to www.unitymarketingonline.com for further info.
