Since its founding in 1949, the Yashima Pearl Farm has utilized the pristine natural environment of Masaki Island in Mie Prefecture to cultivate high-quality pearls from Akoya shells. In 1971, the company expanded by establishing Yashima Pearl Co., Ltd. as its dedicated retail division to better showcase these locally grown gems. Now based in Ise City, the company continues its long-standing tradition of producing and selling exquisite pearl jewelry directly from its source.
