St Louis Union Station Hotel

The St Louis Union Station Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel in the city center, known for its Romanesque architecture and gold-leaf details.

  • History: It originally opened in 1894 as one of the world's largest train stations, but the last train departed in 1978.

  • Renovation: It reopened as a 539-room hotel seven years later. A major renovation restored its original stonework and the Station Grille restaurant.

  • Key Feature: The building, including the Grand Hall with its 65-foot ceilings and mosaics, is now a National Historic Landmark and features an hourly 3D light show.
