Ocean exploration have huge implications for marine biology, marine virology but also geology, looking at the rocks and plate tectonics and all that. And then there is just mapping---80% of the ocean seafloor is unmapped. The beauty of the ocean is because it's so unexplored, it's like a tragedy of riches. Where do you want to go now? Anywhere you go is going to be new. Where do you start?
