Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative
The Natural Diamond Council and fine jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz have announced the debut of the Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative, a program created to remove barriers to entry to diamond suppliers, industry education, and resources, while providing ongoing mentorship to BIPOC jewelry designers. The initiative will also give a total of US$1 million in the form of US$20000 diamond credits to the chosen designers. I hope it works.

DPA Relaunches As The Natural Diamond Council
The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) has unveiled a new name and strategy it hopes will resonate with younger consumers and position it as a leading digital publisher of information about diamonds. The category marketing organisation is now the National Diamond Council (NDC) with its new consumer website-----www.naturaldiamonds.com-----serving as resource and educational hub.
