Life has different chapters. My first 20 years, with the help of my parents, I figured out how to take care of myself. The next 40 I traveled the world, looking for the known unknown and unknown unknown. Today, at age 60, I've now reached the point where I have to let go. Physically, I'm not at the level I once was. And emotionally, I cannot accept the risk that justifies the reward.

A life, if lived well, is long enough. This can mean different things to different people. Stay active as much as possible. The human body is a wonderful thing. You only appreciate this when it starts to fail you. Look after your body, because it's the only one you have, and it's brilliant.

Your life is not always going to fulfill you. Happiness is reality minus expectation. If you are looking for bliss, you are bound to be disappointed. The upside of low expectation is that they erase the gap between what we wanted and what we got.
