Raised in Sweden by a Swedish father and a German mother, Yvonne Gossner’s multicultural upbringing sparked an early passion for language and cultural exchange, which was further strengthened when she lived in Boston after upper secondary school. Between 1997 and 2002, she studied language education at Malmö University and Lund University, participating in academic exchanges to Scotland, Germany, and Australia. Following her studies, Yvonne spent 15 years teaching Swedish, English, and German across lower and upper secondary levels, as well as instructing international exchange students in Swedish language, culture, and society at Malmö University. Inspired by her foreign friends' struggles with cultural integration, she launched the Instagram initiative #learnswedishculture in February 2018 and established her company, Learn Swedish Culture AB, a few months later, in June 2018.
