Seal & Scribe was founded by Shari Cohen, a designer drawn to the beauty and mystery of antique intaglio seals. Her journey began with a personal collection of carved seals discovered during her travels.

Shari studied Fine Arts and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees.

She served in the U.S. Peace Corps and worked 30 years in International Relief and Development across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Islands.

Collecting seals became a way to relax after overseas assignments.

In 2016, she launched Seal & Scribe after curating her first collection.
