A huge cube of pure 24 karat gold, weighing 186 kg and valued at US$11.7 million was unveiled as one day exhibit in New York's Central Park, amid tight security. The contemporary artwork, by Niclas Castello, was cast in a kiln specially made to cope with the size and volume of the gold involved.
