Why Astrology Is So Popular Now
I think it could be Anxiety Attack + Astrology apps like Co-Star and Sanctuary have helped the demand + 2020 seems to have stoked the fire + other factors such as technological innovation, the changing beliefs of millennials and Gen Z may have laid the groundwork well before the pandemic began.

Smartphone-walking
Hats off to Yamato City, Japan. Yamato has become the first Japanese city to ban people using smartphones while walking. I think it is simply dangerous. Walking while distracted by your smartphone can lead to accidents to yourself or others. Establishing social norms should begin from a young age. Walk responsibly.

Samfundssind
For the Danes, the word Samfundssind reminded them to look at corona virus as a joint situation where it was important not to think of their own needs, but to think about themselves as part of a bigger cause. Samfundssind worked because the political leadership introduced it as a new norm, and the society, which trusted them, embraced it voluntarily. It is a model, the rest of the world should seek to replicate, albeit one that's less easily adaptable in nations as politically polarized as India, China, the US or parts of Europe, Africa and South America, where polls show little confidence in leadership's handling of the pandemic.

Ian Leslie was spot on. We should rebuild our networks of casual acquantainces. It works. We can learn a lot from talking to people we barely know.
