At the 2025 CIBJO Congress in Paris on October 27, the seventh pre-congress Special Report was released by the Gemmological Commission, led by Hanco Zwaan. The report explores whether CIBJO should create a list of gem laboratories that follow the standards and terminology set out in the CIBJO Blue Books.
