Ancient Amber Reveals 112-Million-Year-Old Insects, Plants, And Spiderwebs

A new study in Communications Earth & Environment looked at 112-million-year-old amber and found two types of it. One type formed underground, while the other formed in the open air. This shows that amber can preserve tiny details on ancient life, from insects to plants, giving clues about life millions of years ago.
