My expertise is in colored stones, diamonds, and gem education. If you are reading this story, I have a logical proposal for you. There is a reason why United States is the largest country in the world for collectors. Americans collect everything you can imagine under the sun for a peculiar reason. I live in Kerala State (India), and we don't. They also have the best museums in the world, and we don't. The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (USA) is the largest gem show in the world. The organizers of the gem show have done something unique in addition to their regular format. Every year they have special curated events for children at the show, even though the gem buying and selling is an adult thing. The logic behind the idea is that today's children are tomorrow's adult. Seeing is still believing. Eventually they will become a gemstone consumer one way or the other someday as they grow. The same concept should apply to watch shows. Just like colored stones and diamonds, good quality watches are also storytellers. The know-how and finishing of watch brands, along with high-end watchmaking, are not not appreciated by many. The reason why gem and jewelry industry exists is because of women. If they stop buying, then there will be no gem & jewelry industry. Gently encourage more women to appreciate good quality watches. Without education it won't happen.
