Everledger has partnered with Hari Krishna Exports, Lucara Diamond Corp, and the Gemological Institute of America to share provenance details for a 30 carat diamond from the Karowe mine in Botswana on its blockchain platform. Lucara, which owns Karowe, unearthed the diamond, which Hari Krishna Exports cut and polished at its factory in Surat, India, and named it the Brilliant Lucara Diamond. The manufacturer's customers will be able to view the diamond through Everledger's platform. The verified country of origin, Botswana, also appears on the platform via the diamond's GIA Diamond Origin Report, which confirms the provenance of the diamond by matching them to the original rough diamond.
