Get to know Sapphire, the one-named designer behind the Sapphire Collective in Los Angeles, to create a green sapphire ring in 2015 that resembled a bud of marijuana dotted with little white diamonds for the THC — the chemical responsible for most of marijuana’s effect — and rose gold for the hairs, or pistils. (A second version uses purple sapphires to evoke the hue of an Indica strain.) Take note.
