The BBC News story on illegal mining operations + the impact @ http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7723988.stm was insightful. I think the final end-users have no idea where the products are coming from and a total ban on illegal products won't work because of the amorphous business-friendly open market. Sad, really.
