My Own Art Collection

I thought Art Council's new initiative to get more people interested in modern art via My Own Art Collection was a brilliant idea. In fact I liked it.

Alfred Brendel

Alfred Brendel is retiring. He'll be remembered for beautiful interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, Haydn and Brahms. I think his music will live on, really.

Global Arts Guide

Global Arts Guide compiled by Elisabeth Hopkins @ http://www.iht.com/artsguide/index.php was brilliant. I religiously read art events in IHT + I am also excited with the new interactive 2009 calendar. Thanks Elisabeth.

Peter Day's World of Business talk with Carl Schramm on entrepreneurial ideas and innovation in schools to encourage children to turn big ideas in to reality + worldwide initiative to encourage young people to think about starting businesses @ http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/global_business.shtml was insightful.
