Breaking a global glass ceiling, Charlotte Rose has been elected president of the London Diamond Bourse (LDB), making her the first woman to ever lead a diamond bourse anywhere in the world. Chosen during the organization’s annual general meeting on June 25, Rose previously made history in 2024 by becoming only the second woman worldwide to serve as an LDB vice president. Beyond her trailblazing leadership roles, she is the founder and director of vintage jeweler Solomons & Rose, as well as the head of its new auction division, Furlong. Rose succeeds David Troostwyk, who served a two-and-a-half-year term and will now step into the role of vice president.
