The European Union has officially launched its new Entry/Exit System (EES), which began operations on October 12, 2025. Participating European countries are currently integrating the system into their external borders through a phased rollout, allowing for a steady introduction of new data collection protocols at various border crossing points. This transition period is designed to ensure a smooth shift toward modern border management, to reach full implementation across all designated entry points by April 10, 2026.
