I found the World Wealth Report 2008 + other viewpoints @ www.us.capgemini.com/worldwealthreport08 interesting. The perception is the luxury sector is there and powerful. With millionaires and billionaires losing millions/billions in current economic meltdown + more than half the world experiencing double-digit inflation, it would be interesting to see how the millionaires/billionaires will be spending their net worth on luxury.
